I was born in Varese in 1991. As a kid I was curious, bright, and a bit wild — with a few trips to the hospital for going too far. I built Lego, Geomag, a bamboo bow in the garden. The material changed; the instinct didn't.

As a teenager I discovered that with code I could build things without asking anyone's permission. Technical high school, then Computer Science at the University of Insubria: that's where things really clicked, and where I met the people I'd later work with. Master's degree with honours in 2015.

Then Vancouver, to study English. The moment I stepped out of my shell.

Back in Italy I looked for work in video games. I joined a Milan startup making mobile card games — a childhood dream. But after two years on the same game I discovered something about myself: I can't stand being told what to do.

In 2018 I built EasyMap: a SaaS for property investors that aggregates listings from Italian portals and compares them by micro-area to surface deals priced below the local average. It processes over 200,000 listings automatically every day and has more than 150 active professional users. Grown entirely by word of mouth, zero marketing budget, profitable. Some customers have been with me since day one. Today it runs almost on its own — and that's exactly the point: I built it to free up my time, and it worked.

But the most important part of this period is the failures. Several side projects that never took off, two attempts at group investing that didn't work out. I carried that lesson with me for a long time:

The method has changed. First I talk to people, understand where they lose time, and only then write a single line of code. Astalista is the first product born that way: the first AI analyst for Italian property auctions. It reads appraisal reports, auction notices and floor plans, slashes due-diligence time, and automatically extracts hidden costs, building violations and financial data — with the PDF always open beside it for verification. Born from a real problem.

AI is a tool for me, not a topic. With Claude Code I build at a speed that simply wasn't possible before — browser extensions, micro-SaaS, mobile apps, landing pages. That's what interests me, and what I want to write about.
